Over the last 3 years i have been working as an Usability-Engineer for Siemens Medical Solutions. I had the chance to work on both, hardware- and softwarecomponents of Siemens' MRI's. My most recent work is subject to my non disclosure agreement and can therefore not be shown. My earlier projects ranged from conceptual creation of software-components to their evaluation in form of interactive prototypes and their visual and technological realisation. I defined, for example, an usable color-range for the illuminated sidepanel including the corresponding UI in the software to choose the desired colors. I also defined the final layout and spacings for the PatientDataDisplay and wrote its styleguide, with the final visual design being done by Ergosign.
